Yesterday I had you choose a global issue and you wrote about it on your blog. Today on your blog I want you to tell me about two different perspectives of your global issue. Are there people for an against your issue? Do people disagree on your issue? Is it a topic that can cause controversy? Look at the issue for two different perspectives. Tell me about those perspectives.

     Most people in the world are against water pollution. People are against water pollution, because it warms everyone who drinks water and it harms the aquatic life. It gets in peoples water and it contaminates the water so it hurts the fish. I don't think that people are for water pollution for the reasons that I have listed.

Last week I asked your to "think differently" and push yourself to be uncommon with your PSA project using Google Slides. Why do you think I asked you to do that? What is the point? Why not just use bullets and headers? Explain.

     I think that you asked us to do that because if we didn't "think differently" then the PSA we would be making for you would be very boring. The PSA will be something that you have seen before, or not original, so if you just read the same thing over and over again you as the reader will get really bored.

        Kids these days really don't get satisfied that easily anymore and they always are asking for the latest stuff. Kids these days don't understand how lucky they are. If they have food and they don't like the food they are eating and they complain they really don't understand that there are kids around the world that don't eat a lot of food.

What is a public service announcement (PSA)? What do PSA's do? What makes a good PSA? How can you get someone to take action after watching a PSA?  What is you PSA idea? Explain in detail.

      A PSA, or a Public Service Announcement, is an announcement thats goal is to get a certain message through to the public. What makes a good PSA is that the information is understood by the people that are lokking at your PSA. To get people to take action you can say something in the PSA that tells the reader how they can take action, and they should include many different ways.

         This weekend I hung out with friends on Friday for a bit and then also on Monday. That is pretty much all I did the whole weekend. The rest of the weekend I just chilled and watched the NFL playoffs. I also did a bunch of homework on Sunday night.

         My Spencer Alaimo and I am a freshman here at Blue Valley High School. Right now I am only involved in one activity and that is baseball. Right now we are in conditioning and we will start the season in about 1 month and a half. My favorite class this far I have only been in for two weeks and that is Geography with Mrs. Cowan.

What are your thoughts on this class so far? Easy? Hard? Informative? Frustrating? What have you learned so far? What do you want to learn? Explain yourself.

I think that so far this class is pretty easy, and I think that I am keeping up with what I am supposed to do. I have learned to use blogger, use google chrome, and use all the different features that google has. Stuff I want to learn is how to use google chrome and be able to use some the features they have. Also I want to learn BVbusiness, because I might have to use it some other time that I am here at Blue Valley High.

      On Saturday I watched NFL football. I watched the Seahawks vs Panthers, and I watched one of my favorite teams lose, the Panthers. On Sunday it was my 15th birthday, and I went to a fancy restaurant called Sullivans for my birthday dinner.

Read this small newspaper clipping and then write a blog post about it. What are your thoughts? How does it make you feel? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

          I feel that this is wrong and people should not listen to this article. I don't agree with this article at all. I think that teenagers should still help around the house a little bit, but I don't think that is all that teenagers should do. Teens have the right to do something fun, and not just work and do chores all the time. Maybe after the teenager does a little bit of chores they can have a bit of fun. Also, if the kid cooks, gets a job, mow, wash dishes, and build a raft the parent is doing nothing and they owe the kids no fun? Really what I am trying to say is that this paragraph is very wrong, and also that this paragraph doesn't make any sense at all.
